Users can authenticate against both iRacing and Twitch and perform self-service registration. A plus side of the new iRacing OAuth flow is that we can have both (Authenticate with Twitch) and (Authenticate with iRacing) buttons - if a user can do both, it means they have the credentials for both accounts and we can let them make the association. That wasnt really possible before with iRacing without collecting their username/password. |

I dont want to deal with collecting/storing/knowing their credentials! This makes it much easier to setup self service account mappings. Do you want to be in the database? You have an iRacing account and a Twitch channel? Here, use these two buttons to prove it. When they do, then we can trust both accounts are valid and they indeed are the owner. |
